Drink when you are thirsty, consume fluids with meals, increase intake during exercise and hot weather, and pay attention to general signs of hydration.
Carrying a reusable water bottle can make drinking regularly easier, particularly for people who tend to forget about hydration during busy days.
Water is usually the simplest choice because it hydrates without adding sugar or calories. However, other beverages and water-rich foods can also contribute to total fluid intake.
